Re: =VG= Extended/Descriptive Universal Forum Rules
User Posting behaviour
1.1) No spam
Spam is not tolerated. Spam is when you post something over and over, repeating the same thing for many times. This includes posting without a point. Some examples of what kind of spam that is not tolerated can be found below:
- No Double-posting
- No stretching the page so you need to scroll over
- No typing in random letters to get your post count up (Example: dsubgdsk, ufdsh)
- No repetative smilies (Example: :x ). Your are limited to 5 per post.
- Do not ask a question again and again if you get an answer.
- Do not use your signature more then 3 time per page on a thread.
1.2) Follow all Rules
Make sure to follow ALL rules when posting. Failure to do so can result in either a post deletion, or a warning, or both. The rules are there for a good reason, and it is for everyone to stay safe, be kind, and be happy at all times on the forum.
1.3) Do not post anything harmful for another member
Everything in your post has to be unharmful to everyone. Anything religious, racist, or illegal is 100% not tolerated. If something cannot hurt another, you may post it aslong as it follows the 10 and under age range. If something is religious and may insult another user by posting it, or saying your better then another (Racism) will have severe punishments. If you ever find a post regarding either or other harmful topics, please report it for moderator review immediatally!
1.4) Keep it to the age of 10 and Below
Please keep everything age appropraite for users under 10 years of age. If it is just over to, say 11 or 12, it will be deleted and you sent a message. If it seems to be too mature, you will be sent a warning. If it is easily noticable to be in the range of 14+, you will be banned for 1 month (30 days). If you abuse this again, you will not have a thrid chance. Meaning you will be permenantly banned.
1.5) Message content not allowed
Remember, all of this is what is not allowed, but it is also not only all of this. Anything a user posts that seems like it shouldn't be there will be taken into mind. These are just some things not tolerated:
- Spam is not tolerated
- Any illegal content
- Prank messages (Includes PMs)
- Members posting unreleased content
- Hacking links, Scam links, and Information about both (Unless posted by a Staff member)
- Drug/Alchohol Information
- Virsuses, Worms, and anything else that is harmful for a users' computer
- Advertisment in posts (Besides the default Guest ads)

Re: =VG= Extended/Descriptive Universal Forum Rules
User Interactions
Private Messaging (PMing)
Private Messaging is privilege. Do not say anything mean in private messaging, ever, no matter the circumstances! It is something that can easily be removed if reported by several users with a quotation of the message sent to them by another member.
Profiles
In your profile there is a section titled 'Personal Profile'. Here, you need to be careful. Other users can abuse you inserting personal information, and that can bring up a big mess on the forums. As for the age section, you SHOULD put your original date of birth, as the forum will show when your birthday is. But, it would be wise if in the age year section to put ****, or something else. As for your location - keep it as general as possible. You can make something up, but NEVER say your exact location! If you'd like, say what country you live in or the state you live in. But not town/road/house number. In your job/hobbies, choose a sport you like, or what you do for a living.
In your profile there is a section called 'Contact Field'. It has different things such as Skype, Yahoo Messanger, and MSN. Do not fill this feilds out if you are not 18 years+, as they can give out far too much personal information!

Re: =VG= Extended/Descriptive Universal Forum Rules
Suggestions/Complaints
Suggestions
Suggestions are only specific to certain catagorys or forums. If in that part of the board it allows you to make suggestions (Included in the rules if it's allowed), you may suggest to your hearts desire - as long as you follow all the rules for that part of the board. If you suggest anywere that doesn't allow suggestions (This WILL be included in the forums' rules) your topic/post will be deleted. Although, if something such as Game Announcements ask for ideas/suggestions, you therefore can suggest it - but only in the designated thread.
Complaints
Downright complaints will never be accepted. Complaining will have your post/thread deleted, and possible warnings if continued. If you keep repeating a complaint, you will be banned. Critism is basically the same exact thing, complaining just slightly differing. But, Constructive Critism is partially accepted. If a section of the board specificly says you can use constructive critism, you may. But, even if it is not in the certain section of the forums' rules, saying you arn't allowed to, it is not allowed. The only time it is ever allowed is when said in a Games' Announcements' thread or said in the rules to be allowed. Downright giving out Constructive Critism were it is not accepted or necessary will have either a post deletion or your post being edited.

Re: =VG= Extended/Descriptive Universal Forum Rules
Standarized Forum Information
Multiple Accounts
There is absolutaly no reason you will need to have more then 1 account. Multiple accounts will be banned, and you will be sent a final warning to your email. A Forum Account represents yourself, and if you break the rules - or atleast someone who has access to your account does when on your account, your account will be punished no matter who did it.
Here are some tips to keep your Forum Account from being terrorized:
- Do not save your account password/username to public computers or computers that may have other users going to this site on them
- Do not tell anyone you password!
- Use a password that is not easy to guess. Like a username being the same thing as your password is
- Make sure your password isn't used anywere else so other users can't find that one out and use it here
Bans/Ban Avoiding
When/If a member is banned, they will have a title saying 'Banned' or 'Banned!' instead of 'Member'.
'Banned' means that a member is banned for a period of time ranging from 24 hours to 3 months.
'Banned!' means that a member is banned permenantly from the forums.
Ban Avoiding:
When you or another user is banned, you will most likley not like that. The only reason you were banned was because you broke multiple rules, ect. You will recieve an email concerning why you were banned. But, if you choose to make a second account to post until the ban is up, you will most likley be caught. If you original account was banned only for a certain amount of time, it WILL be banned permanently. This goes the same for if you use a friends account to post while you are banned, your account will have more severe conditions - and you friend's too!

Re: =VG= Extended/Descriptive Universal Forum Rules
Avatar Information
Avatar Submissions (Recommended)
If you wish to have no risk of using your avatar, see if it fits the limits in the 'Avatar Submission Testing' thread, located in Forum Support.
Creating an Avatar
First of all, you must require some Graphics Skills. If you have these, and a program to work with, you are ready to make your avatar.
When making an avatar, you have 2 limits size wise. The maximum size dimensions are 125 x 125 pixels, or lower. This translates to 125 pixels high, and 125 pixels wide. The max filesize dimensions are 10,000 bytes. About 10 KB. Here is an image to show you the regulations:
Avatar Regulations:
1. No Animation
2. Size Demensions followed
3. Ages 9 and under appropriate
Submitting your Avatar
If you have a single Avatar to submit, please do not send just that 1 avatar. It is highly unrecommended! If an Inbox is full, please submit it to the secondary account. Please try and have as many avatars as possible in a single message. Copy, paste, and fill out this form for each avatar to be submitted:
- Code:
[color=black][b]Submitted by:[/b][/color]
[color=black][b]Avatar Image:[/b][/color]
[color=black][b]Avatar Link (URL):[/b][/color]
All submissions are to be sent to the user Avatar Submissions! This account is owned by the staff.
Uploading your own Avatar (Not Recommended)
If someone happens to decide to upload their own avatar, there are extremely strict regulations. As for Staff and Assistants, they will have a different copy of Avatar Rules.
Maximum Size Dimensions
You may have you avatar with the maximum dimensions of 125 x 125 pixels. If you are caught with it any bigger then that (Even if it's only 1 pixel) your avatar will be immediatly deleted (Or reported to an Administrator) and you will be warned. If you break this rule 2 times, you will recieve a 3 day ban. If you break it a 3nd time, you will recieve a one week ban. If you break it a 4th time, you will be permenantly banned.
Maximum Filesize Dimensions
Your maximum file size for an avatar is 10,000 bytes, which is just about 10 KB. If you are found with an avatar with a larger filesize, and it's your first time breaking this, you will most likley have it resized and be warned. But, if an Administrator is too busy to do so, it will be deleted and you warned. If you continue to break this rule two times, you will be banned for 3 days. If you break it a 3rd, you are banned for a week. If you break it a 4th, you will be permenantly banned.
Image Design
Your image can be as complex or simple as you'd like it. But, you have to keep it to an 9- age appropraite. You will be warned if it's too harsh by a little, and your avatar deleted. If you have a far too harsh image, the image will be givin to an Administrator (Please report another users image to a moderator or Admin if you think it's too harsh) and the user will be delt with accordingly. If you do it a second time, you will be givin an official warning. If you do it a 3rd time, a 3-day ban. A 4th time is a 1-week ban. And, a 5th time, a permenant ban.
Please follow all of these rules accordingly! If you wish to not have a problem at all with this, submit your avatars for the Site Gallery of Avatars, or select one from there. Also, you can use the avatar testing thread as a place to see if your avatars are ok.
Thanks!
